The Best Western Plus Liberty Lake receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising the friendly staff and amenities like the pool and breakfast, while others express concerns regarding cleanliness, inconsistent housekeeping, and unresolved issues with the hot tub. Recent reviews highlight staffing challenges and unusual guest interactions, suggesting a need for improved operational consistency and guest experience management.
This was the Wild Western; Not the Best Western. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was broken over the 4 days we were there. They refused to increase the temperature of the swimming pool. The one night I went in the pool there were about a dozen people without key cards, swimming, splashing and screaming and driving their children to a frenzy. Each night I came to see if I could have an evening cookie and they were all gone: on one of the nights I found out why. There was a mass gathering of people in the Pepper Room and a screaming woman of foreign extraction came out at 7:01 and took all of the cookies herself to take into the room. The facility appeared short-staffed and those who were working did a good job but looked somewhat frightened and overwhelmed. The key cards required repeated reprogramming and supplies in the bedroom were short. I generally expect a more standard experience, but I have had another odd experience at a different Best Western in Spokane, so maybe they just run their business differently there. I am grateful for a safe place to stay and we were glad we could access a charger across the way at a car dealership. Of the many many chargers most of them had gas cars parked in the slots but there was one left where we could charge up. I'm not sure if I would choose to stay there again. I guess it will depend on our travel requirements. It's very nice to be able to go to the Harvard Street access to the centennial trail. Also, Our Lady of Victory and Buck Knives are nearby. The White House restaurant has good Mediterranean food and it's about 10 minutes away.
Stayed for three nights, rooms are nice and breakfast had good options. Walls between rooms are thin, hot tub was broken for the duration of our stay. Housekeeping is “by request”, and after “requesting” housekeeping multiple times per day, they never came and I got nothing but wishy-washy apologies from front desk. Confused as to what we paid $400+ for. Having a clean room in a 3-star hotel is a pretty low bar IMO and we won’t be staying here again.
Me and my daughter were greeted by Nathan at the front desk and I couldn't be more pleased with his service. He was kind, respectful and helpful. Every hotel should have a Nathan. The room has some wear to it but nothing to complain about and is super spacious. Beds are comfy and the fridge actually makes your drinks cold. The A/C blasts and cools down the room fast. The pool and hot tub are great. They have a room with a pool table and a message chair that is pay for play but a rare touch. Really enjoying the stay. I will be reserving a room here again for sure.
Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool area – a great place to unwind after a busy day!
The rooms are nice well kept and clean.. There is only seating for two guests. There is no table in the room. You can not use the bed as a third place to sit because they are very high. The desk is the only flat surface in which to eat or play card games. Strange for a double room. The breakfast was good. The toaster needs to be replaced. 5 to 7 minutes for a very lightly toasted item. The shower heads are at six feet. Taller people must duck. The slamming of doors was minimal. Overall quiet and clean. Good restaurant across the street and lovely grocery stores across the highway.
Not my favorite Best western. Probably won’t choose again. Old, not super clean. There was a giant wad of hair in the ice bucket that my husband found when he was planning to go get ice. definitely changed his mind ?. Most best westerns I’ve stayed in have an ok fitness room with a peloton. This one was pretty plain. No Peloton. The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke. We were here for a club volleyball tournament.
Very nice hotel. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Only downside is the know for the hot tub jets kept disappearing during our stay.

Genuinely a horrid hotel - If you are servicing your Tesla - this may look convenient . Absolutely Don't do it to yourself. There seems to be extreme anti - Elon Bias here or some underlying hostility. I had banging noises on the roof of 3 different rooms and cleaners packing items out side my door snickering and laughing. Head to the Davenport or find another location. Front desk is the worst part , but in addition, the toilets don't work, there is extremely loud noise throughout the stay and 0 noise insulation. The worst part is the front desk and maintenance/ housekeepers however. They will disrespectfully pile laundry and vacuums directly outside your door while snickering audibly laughing. The more I think about this stay the more angry I become, so I will likely continue to update review. Uncertain if anti- Elon Bias.... But expect completely fabricated stories as well. This ultimately led to a SWATTING incident about half a mile away at Les Schwab while I had my vehicle aligned during a follow up to my original appointment at Tesla . I was accused of staying at the hotel because of some member of the Best Western cleaning staff ??? Likely the same one piling laundry and vacuums outside of my room. Absolute mental illness within the staff, within a loud hotel where nothing works or operates properly. Get a loaner car to take to the Davenport or Uber to the Davenport Grand! Again if you are one of the many people visiting from Montana or Idaho to service their Tesla - get a loaner car or Uber and Stay at the Davenport Grand or Couer d' Alene resort 20 miles the other way.

Great hotel! Very clean, easy to find, decent breakfast, and nice staff. WiFi worked great for getting work done. No issues with parking. Recommend!
