Hotel Indigo Spokane Downtown offers a stylish and historic stay in the heart of Spokane's vibrant downtown area. Guests consistently praise the hotel’s unique design, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff, particularly highlighting convenient access to restaurants and entertainment. While some reviewers mention occasional noise and parking costs, the overall experience is considered positive, particularly due to the hotel’s excellent service and location.
If it wasn’t for the restaurant, I would give it a 4. The Rooms are very nice; comfortable, clean, roomy and nicely decorated. They even give earphone to block out noise. Nice touch. Location is great too. Walking distance from the waterfalls, shopping. The restaurant was the let down. Service sketchy, and my one order had an 6” hair strand. Not cool.
Customer service was great at this hotel. Our (2) rooms did not have a mini refrigerator, we needed them because we were there for 3 days. The staff reached out to me and asked how my stay was going. They followed up with me and provided two of my rooms with the mini refrigerator. Thank you Austin for taking care of my request. Rooms and atmosphere was nice and I would stay there again! Thank you!
We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times now, and the service has always been amazing. The building itself is beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for accessing multiple concert venues. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel are friendly. During our most recent stay, we had some vehicle troubles, and the valet service went above and beyond to help us. Matt was very kind and professional, he deserves a raise!
We celebrated my birthday here and it was the perfect spot! The suite made an amazing space for gathering with friends, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Such a great atmosphere—highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun place to celebrate. ? Erika, is truly amazing and made this such a welcoming stay and so special!! Thank you ??
This is our new favorite place to stay in downtown Spokane. A short walk away from the more widely known Davenport places you have this gem of a hotel that checks all the boxes for me: thoughtful timeless design throughout, spacious accommodations, a nice restaurant and staff members that are friendly in a way that one finds only in a hotel that is well managed from the top down. If you are a traveler who understands that memorable experiences happen in unexpected places, this gem is for you. Call ahead if you expect certain room amenities. Service in the restaurant is welcoming, friendly and accommodates special requests. Finding places to dine is as simple as strolling down East on First Ave. We did so on a cold winter night and found a good number of culinary options. If you arrive by car, use the valet service and know that your vehicle is stored in a safe place.
Great little hotel. Not the best location, I like theu had vallet but they make you pay 30$ for it? I did not like there's no fridge in room. We are diamond elite IHG members and stay in ALOT of IHG hotels this was not the nicest but the decor was cool. Its not that their in a bad neighborhood but they are downtown. The breakfast is in a restaurant so you can order what you want, half my potatoes were frozen but the waitress was super nice. I will stay at the hotel again maybe just skip the free breakfast
I thought this hotel was beautiful. It’s in an historic old building but the rooms are updated, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was really delicious and the bar lounge area is very nice. The staff was friendly. You can walk to a lot of good stuff. I give it a three on location because it’s very loud there. The train is right by and I have never heard more trains. However the front desk had earplugs and I slept well on the comfy bed. I would return.
The hotel indigo is beautiful. Price wise, the rooms are fantastic for what you pay. Friendly staff. Beautiful bathrooms. Parking is expensive- but I would recommend it. We sadly had a car broken into. But that happens anywhere and staff took care of us. Lots of cool stuff nearby , like fist avenue coffee and the Jade Bar. Showers were rad. Bathrooms are huge. 10/10 would book here agin.
I would not recommend Hotel Indigo Spokane Downtown based on my experience. On 12/12/25, I checked into my room and immediately saw a bug crawling across my pillow. Regardless of what the hotel later claimed the bug was, seeing any bug on bedding is alarming and unacceptable. I reported it immediately and did not feel safe staying in the room. What made the situation worse was the lack of urgency, communication, and basic customer service. I was told I would receive follow-up calls from management that never came. I sat in my car late at night after two flights waiting for directions that never happened. I ultimately had to find another hotel on my own and pay full price after losing my discounted rate. Later, both the hotel and corporate customer service dismissed my report and suggested the incident did not occur at their property, which was insulting and made me feel as though my honesty was being questioned. At no point did anyone take ownership of how poorly the situation was handled in real time. To be clear, my concern was never about compensation. It was about being left without assistance, poor communication, and a complete lack of empathy during a situation involving guest safety. I have since filed a complaint with the local health department so the issue can be independently reviewed. If you value responsiveness, professionalism, and feeling supported as a guest, especially when something goes wrong, I would strongly reconsider staying here.
Overall ok. Would not stay here again to be honest. Service in the bar downstairs was terrible took almost 20 minutes for drinks ordered at the bar before they were even busy, the girl looked like she had never made drinks before, she was very slow and didn't go in order. The hotel room itself was not great, hair in the bathroom, floors were sticky, you could hear everything and room was very muggy when we first got there. It's located in a bad area downtown and you better plan on paying the extra $30 for them to park your vehicle in a secured lot.
