My wife and I stay at the Davenport grand once or twice a year for a staycation. We love the location and views of downtown. The rooms are clean and roomy and comfortable beds. And the service is top-notch! We especially appreciated the professionalism And friendliness of Joey and Timothy! Thank you for another great stay. The only thing we would change is a smaller pillow option!

Very comfortable bed, and pillows. Hands down the best hotel shower ever! Everything you need in a hotel stay. They don’t have a sundry store, but do have vending machines with just about everything you’d need. Close proximity to restaurants, and scenery. I only have four star service for no sundry store.

We stayed at the Davenport Grand and overall had a really good experience. It’s a beautiful, prominent hotel and very picturesque… we took quite a few photos inside because the architectural detail and overall design are genuinely impressive. Upscale without feeling stuffy. The staff was fantastic across the board. Check-in and check-out were smooth, friendly, and easy. The manager who checked us in was especially wonderful… it was my birthday, she wished me a happy birthday, and even gave us a discounted upgrade, which is how we ended up in our corner suite. That personal touch was genuinely appreciated. The valet also deserves a shout-out. Downtown Spokane’s one-way streets feel like a maze designed by someone who dislikes drivers, but he patiently explained how to get to the parking lot and made the process much less stressful. The room itself was great. We had a corner suite with windows facing multiple directions, and aside from one exterior window with some very committed hard-water stains, the views were really nice. Daytime scenery was enjoyable, and at night the city lights were great… we could see Riverfront Park and the canopy lights, which was a cool bonus. We also checked out the igloos on the second-floor deck. They were fun and made for some cool pictures. The heaters were off (understandable if no one’s using them), so they weren’t super warm, but still cozier than outside. With the heaters on, they’d be a great little hangout. The fire features scattered around the deck were a nice touch too… they looked great and actually put off good warmth. Now for the small things… There were a few cleanliness and detail issues that stood out. A coffee cup stain on the desk, a pop can tab under one of the footstools, and some hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn’t ours. Nothing dramatic… just things you don’t expect at this level. The shower area also had some worn spots and a bit of mold, which was noticeable. For a high-end hotel, we were also surprised there were no slippers provided… especially since the bathroom floors were very cold. Little comforts like that go a long way. And lastly, parking. Paying extra to park feels unnecessary these days, especially when most travelers arrive from out of state by car. It would be nice if that cost were simply included in the room rate. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The aesthetics are beautiful, the staff is excellent, and with a bit more attention to detail, this could easily be a five-star experience. We’d absolutely stay again.

The best hotel option in the Spokane region hands down. This location offers Fantastic service and excellent food choices within a massive property in which you can get lost. If you are in the Spokane area, this is the only game in town. Do not compromise for convenience. There are many sketchy options in the Spokane area, do not choose any of them. Beautiful rooms , massive mirrors , fantastic showers , and long distance views make this stay an absolute no brainer. (The Blackened Salmon Caesar is excellent).

We had an amazing stay at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a high-class experience. The hotel itself is impressively large and beautifully designed, and our room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The service was absolutely 5-star. Every staff member we interacted with was warm and professional. The valet team was especially friendly and very accommodating, making arrivals and departures super easy. The front desk receptionist was welcoming and helpful, which made check-in a breeze. Our room was not only clean but stocked with high-quality toiletries, adding a real touch of luxury. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and outstanding service while staying in Spokane!

The room is super spacious and the design is so energetic and happy. I like the fact that even housekeeping is automated here. I wish they had better dining options and better pillows. However, its locations and good staff made the experience much more comfortable. In this cold weather, staying in a red-theme hotel feels like being in tropical!

Our top hotel EVER! Friendly check-in. Room was very spacious. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Walkin shower superb. Hotel restaurant great for bite and a drink. Has a parking garage that is convenient and easy to get to. Location is walkable to everything. We did use a co-operate discount but we have stayed at lesser hotels and paid much more.

Excellent location right down down , short walk to the convention center. Near to lots of cool coffee shops (indaba), bookshops (Aunties bookshop...5 *) and cafes (Madeleines). Hotel has ample public spaces with seating and tables Rooms are spacious. Bed is super comfortable. Heating/cooling is quiet and effective. Sliding door to the toilet and shower is not sound proof, but that seems to be a thing more and more in hotels! :) Electric blinds on the. Bedroom picture windows seal out the light very well. Lovely hotel.

We had an event downtown and figured getting a room at the grand would be our best option for afterwards. Booooyyyyy was I wrong. I don’t ask for too much when staying in a hotel… but at least give me some CLEAN sheets… you could tell that SOMEONE ELSE had previously BLED on the sheets and they were washed and put back onto a bed. This was a disgusting and unpleasant surprise. I also could not sleep well because there was a light above the bed that would not turn off or stop strobing extremely bright all night long which made for some of the worst sleep of my life. Attached is a still frame of the video that was taken of the light since I can’t upload videos. As you can see, it’s not just a dim light but instead, a very bright light directly above where someone’s head would go to sleep. I could understand these problems if I would have chosen to stay in a low budget hotel room but in a room I paid about $400/1 night? No. This shouldn’t be happening at the grand hotel. There is no reason stained sheets shouldn’t be put directly into the garbage bin. But the icing on the cake was when we brought this to the hotel staff’s attention.. they said “I am really sorry this happened to you. That light is awful and those sheets.. that’s disgusting. But I’m so sorry, the most I can do is offer you $25 off your room…” I’m sorry… $25 credit? For my bed being unusable and stained by another persons BLOOD… for the sleep that was not had because there was a strobe light directly over the bed? When the room was $400!? This is terrible business practice. I work in a business where I recommend hotel rooms across Spokane (visiting or residents) and I can tell you, I will no longer recommend the grand hotel to anyone as I am so disgusted and disappointed in all things there.

I’ve been staying at the Davenport hotels for work since 2012, and the Grand has always been my favorite. The last couple of years have been especially busy, and I’ve found myself staying there more frequently than usual and 2025 has truly been the best yet, thanks to all of you. Jessica, Jacob, and the entire front desk team always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome. It’s such a great feeling to walk in, be remembered, and even have my coffee addiction kindly acknowledged! I also want to give special thanks to Jacob and the security team for helping me locate a missing package, and to Jacob again for going out of his way to carry my bags and assist me to my car. Thank you, Amanda, Nathan, Luke, and everyone else whose names I may have missed. You all make each stay feel like home. I’m looking forward to seeing you again next week. You’re all amazing!
