Whether traveling for business or leisure, the hotel provides a convenient and welcoming atmosphere.
The Courtyard by Marriott Spokane Downtown offers a convenient location near the river and downtown attractions, with generally positive reviews highlighting its comfortable rooms and friendly staff. However, recent renovations and construction have led to some concerns regarding cleanliness and noise levels, particularly during certain periods.
My room was amazing. Looked like brand new carpeting and furniture..I had a river view! Bathroom was spotless bed was great. The bistro downstairs had everything I could want and the people at the front desk were friendly and informative.
We stayed for a hockey tournament we came from the west side and it was great to stay here. I would like to mention how sound proof the rooms where. It was amazing. I only wish the baths had fans in them.
Great experience overall, the ladies at The bistro in the evening were incredible and the young man at the front desk was so professional. Room was clean and the area felt safe. Worth a stay!
Excellent experience! The service was incredible beginning to end- everyone was so kind and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The gym was awesome! The area was beautiful and easily walkable. Really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
Great Location, Spacious Well Designed Rooms This hotel is in a great location right on the river and the beautiful river walking path. It’s about a 15 minute walk on that path to all of the activities in the middle of downtown and much quieter than staying there (think Davenport). Make sure that you get a room on the second floor on the river side. They have very nice usable sized balconies with comfortable chairs and a terrific view. There is some road noise from the nearby bridge so, not perfectly serene, but very nice. The design of the spacious rooms is terrific with a nice small couch and ottoman by the balcony slider (which has a very secure lock), a full sized usable closet with lots of hangers, outlets for charging in the nightstands and the desk, and a simple and functional thermostat. The rooms do have a small fridge, but they do not have a microwave which would be my only complaint.
This hotel was so accommodating. The staff was just wonderful. We were here on business and needed to conduct a few interviews with potential new employees. They graciously allowed us the use of a board for the day. 100% recommended for any travel to this area. Its wonderfully located walking distance to the convention center. Its right against the Spokane River with its beautiful walking path.
They no longer have a pool despite pictures online. The sound of the road is easily heard from the room. Rooms did not have a microwave and the refrigerator was very small. The door to the shower in my room wouldn't stay closed.
Walking distance to the Podium and many other venues. Room had just been redone. Construction garbage and ground cleanliness was horrific! There was trash and construction materials everywhere! Patio furniture looked as if it had seen a tornado. Spit cups left by what I assume were construction workers. Elevator and other common areas were dirty. My room water bottles and been used and refilled with tap water. My weekend experience left me with an ick! Not the Courtyard experience I desire for sure.
Outstanding Stay at the Newly Renovated Courtyard by Marriott in Spokane! I recently stayed at the newly renovated Marriott in Spokane and was thoroughly impressed. The renovations are stunning—modern, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment I walked into the refreshed lobby, I could tell a lot of care went into updating the space. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully styled with new furnishings and upgraded amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the smart TV and ample USB ports—perfect for both work and relaxation. The staff was equally impressive: friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Great location, walkable to downtown spots and local restaurants, and easy access to the riverfront. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Spokane—whether it’s for business, a weekend getaway, or anything in between. The Courtyard by Marriott has truly elevated the experience with their recent upgrades!
An absolute embarrassment. The hotel was under renovation, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. The elevator was out of service, exposed wires, drywall debris and dust everywhere, pealing wall paper. I certainly understand the need to renovate, however, the hotel should have been closed for this portion. An absolute health and safety hazard. I was here for work and had to work late till around midnight. Awoken at 7:30am to hammering and drilling added insult to an already awful stay.
