This Hampton Inn traditionally excels in cleanliness, comfort, and amenities like a large heated pool and 24-hour fitness center, earning praise for staff friendliness. However, the property suffers from serious operational inconsistencies regarding housekeeping integrity, breakfast quality, front desk management, and noise policies.
Rooms are newly renovated and clean, not a bad choice for short one or two night stays but I prefer the downtown location. The Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown South Spokane is the best hotel in Spokane in my opinion, and apparently it was awarded the 7th best Hampton Inn and Suites of its size in the world. Personally, this is a close third choice of hotel if the other two are sold out.
The lady at the front desk gave me a list of brilliant places that I could take my family from out of town to on a Sunday afternoon. She was so helpful and I appreciate the friendliness I found here.
Enjoyed my stay here, rooms are comfortable and staff is always friendly and helpful and willing to help you with your needs. Pool and spa tub open 24.hrs a day is a big plus. Breakfast was full of variety to accommodate and variety of tastes.
I've been to many Hampton inns. This one is unique. The layout is very different and I love it. The pool and hot tub area is huge. The lobby is very cozy with a fireplace and lots of seating. The breakfast area is large and comfortable.
The room was clean and super comfy! The staff were friendly and always ready to help and the swimming area was wonderful. My new favorite hotel in Spokane!
Breakfast was the worse I've ever seen and to see that in a Hilton affiliated was a shock. Maybe because it was a weekend? The front desk lady in the morning was delightful and very helpful. Cleaning people, great but that breakfast ruined everything.
After a long day of driving 12 hours and 48 minutes to be exact. I was tired and ready for bed. When I pulled into the parking lot. The first thing I took note was how clean the outside of the property was. The vegetation was cut, and clean the ground keepers. Do a great job. I parked my vehicle and went inside, the foyer was immaculate. I took note as I was going to my room using the Hilton app of the pool. A nice good size pool. With views of the outside in a gazebo type feeling the breakfast area was something else to take note. I've never seen a breakfast area. Resessed down into the ground. It was very inviting. As I accessed my room. I took note of how clean the room was. I've stayed at hotels where you find hair either in the bathroom or even in the Bed from the previous guest, and there was no sign of any of that in my room. Housekeeping does a great job. Out of all the hotels I've stayed throughout my career and even in personal vacations. This hotel has hit. Number 2 in my hotel stays. My number one hotel I won't mention the name of it but, it had wight marble floors. This hotel stay has even beaten out a stay in Hawaii. I will definitely be staying here again.
For those with fragrance allergies, at least for me, this was a safe place. Zero fragrance in the lobby and hallways. Requested a scent-free room and got one and had no allergic reactions. Everything in the hotel looks very new and clean. Our room did have an odor as if someone not-so-clean had stayed there before us, but I would guess this is an issue unique to this room. Staff was terrific and tried to find us a different room, but that just didn't work out, instead we did receive some compensation for this issue. They do use Fabreez in the rooms, but you can request ahead of time that this not be used. Even when the cleaning cart was right in front of our room there were no strong fragrances.
This hotel is super nice and clean. We loved the open areas, great breakfast area and the pool. The pool area is one of the nicest we’ve been to in a hotel for sure. Rooms were nice and clean with great space, great shower head and water pressure. Something we value! The only reason to dock a star is the beds are super uncomfortable. Really awful, which sucks because everything else is so great. Also Shannon was so nice and helpful during our stay, we loved her!
I certainly hope I was just unlucky and the experience is better for others but this was terrible. There was uncleaned dried piss on the floor from the previous guest, and the breakfast was horrible. The potatoes were crunchy not because they were cooked, but because they were still almost frozen. The cutting size was so inconsistent it was as if toddlers had cut them at random. And the seasoning somehow made the dish actively taste bad.
